Computational Chemistry

Computational chemistry is one part of chemistry where the concepts of quantum mechanics that are applied in chemistry are simulated "in silico" or calculations made through software on a computer. through this lecture, students are expected to be able to do calculations or simple simulations to confirm or predict the results of experiments in the laboratory such as estimating the results of a reaction, simulating a spectroscopy spectrum. Therefore, as a prerequisite for this course, participants must master the concepts of quantum chemistry and the theory of structure and chemical bonds.
