The course is aimed at developing students’ writing skills associated with research papers. In this course, the students are also introduced and trained with research paper writing skills to avoid plagiarism, such as writing in-text citations writing paraphrase, summary and quotation.

Academic Writing_2022
This course provides the students with the knowledge and skills of writing for academic purposes. It is one of compulsory courses for the undergraduate students of English education in the University of Mataram. It is not elective course. At the end of this course, the students are able to write a journal article draft of a research report or critical review analysis results by using meta-analysis.

POETRY
Welcome to Poetry Course!
This course will provide you knowledge on theory of poetry, number of examples of English-American poems. Besides helping you to be familiar with native English used in poems in sense of literary language, it will also usher and guide you how to comprehend and analyze the works in order to find values and lessons in helping you to have good character as human beings.

INTERPRETATIVE READING
Interpretative Reading aims to equip lower-intermediate students with the ability to decipher the ideas or information contained in the given text. Through a series of blended learning activities, students are exposed to learn taking the gist of reading texts, as well as analyze and evaluate the explicit and implicit meanings of English reading texts. After attending this Interpretative Reading lectures, students are expected to be able to develop in-depth knowledge of how to interpret reading effectively and efficiently. Thus, at the end of the course completion, they become proficient and confident readers who carry out assignments with full responsibility. | ||||

Bahasa Inggris II
This course is designed for students of economics who have taken Bahasa Inggris I (General English). The purposes of this course is to familiarize the students with the use of English in a practical way of economic activities. This course wraps the English competence (vocabulary and grammar) and skills (reading, speaking, listening, and writing) into the practical topics in economy which the students need for their career. The topics include business and businessman, business plan, promoting a product, business communication, getting a job, money matters, and going away on business. It is expected that the students will be able to practically use their English when dealing with that basic economic activities both as the employer and also the employees.

Textbook Analysis and Material Development 2022
TA&MD is a coursework lecture to prepare students in: a) understanding the criteria of good textbooks; b) preparing teaching materials.

The course is designed for the first semester students of Primary School Teacher Education to develop their English language knowledge and skills. The course content covers grammatical structures and functions, Vocabulary, Reading (e.g. short news and stories), Writing simple texts (e.g. describing people and telling past experience), Speaking (e.g. introducing one’s self) describing friends) and Listening (e.g. listening to audio stories in English)
